After her father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Michelle worked to better the lives of others, and her dad was her greatest inspiration. When Michelle met Barack Obama, she was already a trailblazing lawyer and activist. Using her platform to advocate for women, girls, and those less fortunate, Michelle became one of the most influential first ladies in American history.
